Prerequisites per class
A folder with pockets, pencil and notebook paper. A music stand is usually required. Cleaning instruments if needed. It is always a good idea to have a soft cloth to keep your instrument clean.
Ballet Tap 12 years old and up
8:00 - 9:30
We will spend 40 minutes on each technique. We will begin with ballet and end with tap. Ballet will be a mixture of traditional and lyrical. Tap will begin with the basics and gradually increase difficulty as the class progresses. We will work on technique the first semester. We will have a recital in the spring for both ballet and tap. Christian/praise and inspirational music will be used for the performances. Ballet and tap shoes are required. Costume fee is required.

This class will take children through a year of learning, moving, singing and dancing as they explore the world of animals. Each class will introduce children to an animal, letter of the alphabet, number, and movement. The class will offer four opportunities for Show and Tell. Parent Watch Day will be offered each semester.

This class is for those who took tumbling last year or other gymnastics training. You must be able to do a cartwheel, forward roll without hands. straddle rolll and a handstand. We will cover these basic steps for a short period of time only before moving on. We will work mainly on back bends, walk overs, handsprings, and balances. No shoes required.

Keyboard I Age 7 and Up

Each student must provide a portable electronic keyboard with headphones to bring to each class.
Requirements
A portable keyboard with a minimum of 61 full-size keys, touch sensitive, sustain pedal, head phone jacks and headphones. A music stand attached to the keyboard, an AC adapter for practice at home and two sets of batteries to bring to class. Method Book: Alfred’s Basic Piano Library Lesson Book Complete, Level 2-3 for the Later Beginner (green)A pencil, folder with pockets and notebook paper.

This class is designed to teach the basics of jazz tap and apply them to routines. Although the steps are basic, they are performed at a fast tempo. Jazz tap means low to the ground percussive sounds with an occasional jazz step or stunt. It is loud! We will perform at the Christmas and the Spring Concerts. Tap shoes are required. Costume fee is required.
Keyboard III Audition Only

Learn the basics of America's true original dance form and build from there! Rhythms, games, choreography, Masters of Tap, and more. Year two students will continue adding to their dance vocabulary with more challenging steps and conbinations. Parent Watch Day will be offered each semester. Participate in the End of the Year Performance.
Beginning Tumbling 4 years old and up CLASS IS FULL

This class is designed for the beginner tumbler. No experience required. The class will be separated into two groups; beginners and those with some experience. The beginners will work on rolls, cartwheels, splits, round offs, back bends, and handstands. Those more advanced will quickly move through the beginner steps and begin perfecting the round off, back pull up, walk over, splits, and balances. No shoes required.

Physical Education Class All Ages CLASS IS FULL

Students will learn the very basic fundamentals of exercise and team sports. Weather permitting, this class will meet outside. Otherwise, we will meet in the gym. We will cover things such as the presidential physical fitness assessment, basketball, track and field, and soccer. We will also play dodge ball, kickball, and run many relay races.
