About Us

Text Box: Conveniently located in Henry County and centered in Atlanta’s southern crescent, we provide an outstanding quality of instruction in the fine arts. Instruction is geared to include the beginner as well as the seasoned participant. Research shows that children who study instrumental music score higher on standardized tests. Music study may also improve fine motor skills, eye and hand coordination, organizational skills, discipline and reading skills. A music program also provides an opportunity for individual challenge and expression. We participate in local community events and are actively involved with the Georgia Music Educators Association. Our students compete annually in the solo and ensemble festival and consistently earn ratings of excellent and superior. We have had several students selected for the District Honor Band and the All-State Band.
The Home of Fine Arts Connection, Inc. began with a group of homeschooling mothers that desired music education for the children. Some of these mothers were former band directors, musicians, and teachers. These mothers realized that they longed for their children to be able to pursue a fine arts program. Knowing that group music education would benefit their children, they decided to “band” together to provide excellent music instruction.
Our group is lucky to have many dedicated parents. These excellent group of parents spend time during the class day volunteering to assist in any way needed. Their input weekly is essential in helping our administrative staff. Our administrative staff is as follows:
			Joni Hyde—Executive Director
			Patricia Hatfield—Chief Financial Officer
			Lorna Crowe—Assistant Director
